Climate Change Call for Projects 2024 – Concept Phase

  • The Call for Projects 2024 is open for submission of Project Concepts from 11 December 2023 until 29 February 2024 at 3 pm CET via our Open Application Platform (OAP).

  • Make sure to browse through the list of the frequently asked questions (FAQs) in the respective section of the current webpage and in this document.

  • A first webinar providing general information on the Call for Projects 2024 as well as outlining lessons learnt from the Concept Phase of the Call for Projects 2023 took place on 8 December at 14:00 CET. You can watch the recording here.
  • A second webinar focusing on the most common questions under the Call for Projects 2024 is currently scheduled for 7 February 2024, 14:00 CET.

In the new Call, the most ambitious and feasible climate change mitigation projects are selected for funding support through a comprehensive process including the following phases: Concept Phase; Outline Phase; Detailed Preparation Phase (DPP); and Implementation Phase. The Project Concept Phase preceding the development of Project Outlines has been introduced to simplify the application process and open the competition to a wider range of potential Applicants and partners.
